This week we focused a lot on how the spheres of fashion, technology, and fitness have begun to merge. We hope we’ve kept it interesting! As a last Fashion Week 2015 hurrah, we headed to Lincoln Center to catch the most important element of MBFW, the style on the street. We asked a few of these fashionistas about their favorite places to go and what trends or designers they’re hoping to see.

Looking sleek and catwalk-ready, Anum Bashir (center) was invited to attend MBFW and is the founder of the art and style blog, Desert Mannequin. Her favorite sense of style leans toward geometric and androgynous cuts, cool and understated colors, and a mainly abstract look. She’s a foodie with some of her favorite haunts in Little Italy, West Village, Soho, and Hell’s Kitchen.

The lovely lady in the center  –I didn’t catch her name because I was too excited about the necklace– is a contributor to the website She loves Ed’s Chowderhouse right across the street from Lincoln Center. A native New Yorker with a passion for style, she’s made an appearance at many a Fashion Week to see the sights and burgeoning trends. She’s looking forward to a comeback for eclectic, personal, and more “dressed up” fashion.

Janet and Joanna (left to right) flew in from Chicago just to see the latest styles to hit the runway. They were looking forward to seeing Herve Leger,  Kate Spade, Jason Wu, and Peter Som. The fashionable duo hope to see more urban and baggy styles such as t-shirt and maxi dresses. Although they were on their way to LES mainstay Essex that night, they recommended going to any of the restaurants in the Meatpacking District.
